Uploading Videos on Go Daddy’s Video.Me

YouTube is the big dog when it comes to online video sharing, but have you checked out Go Daddy’s Video.Me? It pretty much offers all the same features as YouTube does, but it also includes some cool features that make it easier to manage and organize your content. Go Daddy’s online video sharing service even allows you to password-protect your videos in case you only want them to be visible to select users.


Here’s how you can upload your videos on Go Daddy’s Video.Me:
Go to the GoDaddy.com Web site and log in to your Video.Me account.Click on the Upload button; then click Next.Click Add Video and select the video file or files you want to upload, then click Open.
Now you can apply a few settings to your video, including:
– Display Video to everyone (i.e., all Video.Me users)– Password-protect this video — Requires visitors to enter a password for the video in the Password field.     Next, enter a title for your video, then, from the Channel or Album menu, select the channel or album where you want to display your video.
If you need to edit the video’s details, click Edit Details under the Title field.
Next: From the Video tab, enter the following information:
Video name Video description Tags — i.e., keywords related to your video.Privacy Settings: Visibility and password-protection.Organize Your Video Choose a Thumbnail — Select a point in your video to display as a thumbnail.Allow comments — Lets viewers leave comments about your video. Unchecking this box prevents viewers from leaving comments.Allow video player to be embedded — Lets viewers embed the HTML code for your video on other websites. Unchecking this box prevents viewers from displaying your video on other websites.    Now go to the Embedded Player tab and choose whether to change the default settings on these options: Allow Like — Lets viewers Like your video and display the number of likes.Allow Sharing — Lets viewers share and display your video on other websites.Show # of Views — Displays how many times your video has been watched.Autoplay on open — Automatically plays your video once a viewer selects it.Loop video — Automatically replays your video once a viewer has finished watching it.Displays logo linking back to Video.ME — Links to the Video.ME home page.Display bar linking back to Video.ME — Links to the Video.ME home page.
Finally, click Save.
When your video finishes uploading, click Finish — and you’re done. Your video is now on Go Daddy’s Video.Me site!
