WebSite Tonight is built around a large number of professionally designed site templates, so all you have to do is select the one you like the best and add your content. So let’s take a quick look at how to set up your Website Tonight account so you can get your Web site building project under way.
The first time you launch WebSite Tonight from your Go Daddy Account Manager, a setup wizard will ask you to enter the information you need to get started building your new site. Once you set up WebSite Tonight, you can easily make design changes, edit content, take advantage of a large variety of extra features, and publish your site live on the Internet.
This is how you set up WebSite Tonight:
Go to the GoDaddy.com site and log in to your account.From My Products, select WebSite Tonight.Click Launch next to the account you want to use. The Welcome to WebSite Tonight window opens.In the Company or Individual name field, enter a name you want to display publicly as the copyright information in the footer of your Web pages.In the Email address field, enter an email address you want WebSite Tonight to use when you insert an email element on a Web page.Select a domain to use with your Web site.Agree to the terms and conditions.
You can now proceed to building your site:
In the Login info (optional) section, click Generate now, to create login information unique to your WebSite Tonight account. You can use it to log in directly at login.websitetonight.com.From the How do you want to begin? window, select one of the following options:
Select a Pre-Built Site — This option offers pre-written sites that include content, images, page titles, and navigation buttons, which may be quicker than building your Web site from scratch. Once you begin working with WebSite Tonight, you can easily replace existing content with your own. Select a Template — If you’re looking for flexibility in your site setup, this is the option for you. Select your template option, apply it to your site and then work on it— all in a few easy steps. You also have the option to set up your e-commerce store and your blog to match your site template.
Start from Scratch — Build a site from scratch! To add pages to your Web site, click Add Page and enter a title. You can also click Change Layout to change the layout of each page. Add pages or change your layout at any time.To begin building your Web site with the Page Designer, click Work on My Site. The Page Designer opens.
And that’s it: Your WebSite Tonight account is set up.
